A common method of entry has been to smash windows to the rear of properties, please do be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local. DO NOT leave keys in locks of rear doors, once a window has been smashed a burglar will use this key to make access to your home easier, and to enable easier removal of property. Keys that are not taken with you when you are out should be stored out if sight, taking care that all persons in the house would be able to find them quickly in the case of an emergency.
